There are many travel options to reach Szczecin, however most popular is to fly into one of the following airports:

Public Transport in Szczecin

The tram network of Szczecin is the backbone of public transportation. There are twelve lines in total which all cross the inner city at one point or another. Buses in Szczecin serve all the parts of the city without tram connection. Most of the buses also stop in the city centre where guests can interchange between buses and trams as the latter are usually a little bit faster.

Covid Guidelines for Travel - Szczecin, Poland

If you are travelling from outside the Schengen Area:

  • Evidence must be provided of full vaccinations (certificate of vaccination or vaccine passport); approved vaccines include Moderna, AstraZeneca, Pfizer/BioNTech and Janssen (Johnson & Johnson).
  • Failure to provide a negative Covid-19 test will result in a 10-day mandatory quarantine, however providing a negative test during quarantine will allow you to be released early.
If you are travelling from inside the Schengen Area:
  • Evidence must be provided of full vaccinations (certificate of vaccination or vaccine passport); approved vaccines include Moderna, AstraZeneca, Pfizer/BioNTech and Janssen (Johnson & Johnson).
  • Otherwise, travelers from inside the Schengen area will be able to provide a negative Covid-19 test no later than 48 hours before crossing the border into Poland (with proof provided)
  • Not completing this test will result in facing quarantine unless a negative test can be provided upon arrival in Poland.

1.5-meter social distancing is compulsory in Poland, as well as wearing face coverings in all public spaces (excluding parks and 'green' spaces).

Valid Covid test types - PCR and Antigen

Note - People travelling from India, South Africa or Brazil must be fully vaccinated, or else you will face compulsory quarantine, with the earliest chance for a test being after 7 days.
